If you are presently using sample boards that are made of pasted chipboard—otherwise known as heavy duty cardboard—we may be able to lower your costs.
The critical cost variables are:
- Type of printing and number of colors
- Substrate thickness and composition
- Board size
- Order Size
Printing : depending on design and copy requirements and the size of the boards, we can access a variety of printing technologies and equipment which could provide printing savings.
Substrate thickness and composition : Pasted chipboard is made from several layers of heavy recycled paperboard literally glued or “pasted” together, often with a white top or bottom layer. When we understand your requirements, we can create boards of exactly the right thickness and composition—often reducing material costs.
Board Size: With in certain ranges, converting economies may be available, often lowering your cost.
Order Size: Your Sample board unit costs are reduced as the one-time fixed costs of manufacture are spread over large quantity of boards. For instance, an order of 500 boards might cost $3.50 per board, while 5000 of the same board would cost $2.50. Depending on your circumstances, you can order larger quantities and we will hold part of the order for later delivery—helping you realize volume savings.
